Neighboring Cays Sailing & Snorkeling Excursion with PizzaPi lunch

Time: 9:30AM-3:30PM

Itinerary:

The beauty of the US Virgin Islands can be found is the waters surrounding St. Thomas and St. John.

This trip is best for sailing & snorkeling enthusiasts who slightly off-the-beaten-path experiences ranging to neighboring Cays you cannot get to by car. The sailing conditions are exhilarating when you get off-island to reach some of these farther away destinations. We include snorkeling experiences to enjoy the bountiful tropical reef fish as well as try to allow for a swim-with-turtles experience (although for the turtle guarantee you may wish to consider our VI National Park trip). Snorkeling experiences are always led by our underwater naturalist or marine biologist crew.

We typically enjoy a signature lunch and snorkel stop at Christmas Cove at Great St. James (an islands located in between St. Thomas and St. John). Guests may order pay\-per-pie freshly baked pizza to order from our friends at PizzaPiVI for purchase at $25-38/pizza that serves 2.5 people plus gratuity for the PizzaPi crew.

Our crew will regale you with pirate lore, historical narrative and local geographical insights during your trip.

**** NO LIMEOUT Due to the leisurely pace and distance of Limeout, we cannot take you to Coral Bay on a day sailing excursion.

Included:

  • Welcome tropical fruit plate and freshly baked goods e.g. cinnamon rolls or banana bread bites

  • Professional quality snorkel gear available for your use during your charter

  • Guided snorkel experiences led by marine biologist

  • Water & soda selection all day plus family-friendly open bar with responsible service is available after the first snorkel stop.

  • Afternoon baked cookie dessert.

Departure Location: CRUZ BAY Pickup from beach in front of High Tide restaurant at Wharfside Landing (Steps from the passenger ferry dock). You will dinghy to boat so please wear flip flops or shoes ok to get wet). Future National Park Dock pickup may be an alternative (NPS proposes for-fee use of the former courtesy dock effective January 1, 2025 so this will be an additional fee-based option for groups preferring dock pickup versus dinghy).

  • **St. Thomas Guests ** While our itineraries re based on a St. John meet/drop, out St. Thomas guests may opt for fee added STT meet of Ritz Carlton or beach near Elysian or dinghy ride from dock at Redhook American Yacht Harbor weather permitting. Select STT pickup diring checkout to apply applicable charges and email for instructions/coordination). St. Thomas pickups will affect trip timing and will be mutually exclusive to some destination requests unless you consider an extension.. The extra distance and time negates certain destinations in our normal trip timing.
