Signature VI National Park Scenic Sailing & Snorkeling Excursion

Time: 9:30AM-3:30PM

Itinerary:

The beauty of the Virgin Islands can be found by water right off the scenic shore of St. John sailing the waters of the Coral Reef National Monument and within the Virgin Islands National Park. (**VI National Park Mooring Ball PAY-PER-DAY-USE likely applicable starting January 2025 - Proposed fee is $40 for day which we can add to your charter charges).

This trip is best for sailing & snorkeling enthusiasts who prefer scenery and calm conditions. First time visitor’s to St. John get the perfect tour from the water on this signature trip. We include snorkeling experiences to enjoy the bountiful tropical reef fish as well as a swim-with-turtles experience, both led by our underwater naturalist or marine biologist crew.

Weather permitting we enjoy a signature lunch and snorkel stop at Maho Bay to swim with the turtles and/or protected waters swimming on the beautiful reef at Waterlemon Cay. Lunch option favorite is reservations to dine at the newly opened Lovango Cay Beach Club —or— enjoy deli options from any of our partner Delis (you may call in your order that morning and pick up on way to meet the boat or have it delivered to boat for a fee using our friends at Landlubber Logistics):

**** NO LIMEOUT Due to the leisurely pace and distance of Limeout, we cannot take you to Coral Bay on a day sailing excursion.

Included:

  • Welcome tropical fruit plate and freshly baked goods e.g. cinnamon rolls or banana bread bites

  • Professional quality snorkel gear available for your use during your charter

  • Guided snorkel experiences led by marine biologist

  • Water & soda selections all day plus family-friendly open bar rum punch boat specialty with responsible service is available after the first snorkel stop.

  • Afternoon baked cookie dessert.

Departure Location: Pickup from beach in front of High Tide restaurant at Wharfside Landing. You will dinghy to boat so please wear flip flops or shoes ok to get wet). Future National Park Dock pickup may be an alternative (NPS proposes for fee use of the former courtesy dock effective January 1, 2025 so this will be an additional fee-based option for groups preferring dock pickup versus dinghy).

  • **St. Thomas Guests ** While our itineraries re based on a St. John meet/drop, out St. Thomas guests may opt for fee added STT meet of Ritz Carlton or beach near Elysian or dinghy ride from dock at Redhook American Yacht Harbor weather permitting. Select STT pickup diring checkout to apply applicable charges and email for instructions/coordination). St. Thomas pickups will affect trip timing and will be mutually exclusive to some destination requests unless you consider an extension. The extra distance and time negates certain destinations in our normal trip timing.
